Smoking - Stop Smoking Support Services

We provide a range of services to help smokers who wish to stop. Stopping smoking is never easy, but it helps if you plan ahead.

info 10 Steps to Successfully Quitting:
blue bullet Prepare to stop - you will need some time to plan, so don’t just go
on impulse
blue bullet Set a date no more than four weeks ahead
blue bullet Stop on your agreed quit date
blue bullet Get support from friends and family
blue bullet Attend regular advice and support clinics
blue bullet Consult your GP or pharmacist regarding Nicotine Replacement
Therapy
blue bullet You are now a non-smoker
blue bullet Reward yourself with the money you have saved
blue bullet Take it one day at a time. Each day, congratulate yourself on
having made it so far. Keep reminding yourself of your reasons
for giving up
blue bullet Make sure you reward yourself and remember relapse isn’t a
failure
