Ulster Cancer Foundation Services - Helpline

We believe that it helps to talk - especially when it comes to concerns about cancer.

It can reduce the fear and anxiety associated with cancer and also reassure people that it’s perfectly normal to have questions or concerns about their health.

We are the only local cancer charity to provide a free and confidential helpline for patients, their family members or friends – in fact anyone who may have concerns about any aspect of cancer.

When a caller phones our helpline, they speak directly to a cancer nurse who will be able to provide relevant and appropriate information, to best suit your needs. The nurse is also able to provide details of UCF and other services in the caller’s local area.

Our freephone helpline number is 0800 783 3339 and the service is available Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm.

Alternatively, you can email your queries or concerns to one of our cancer information nurses directly on and they will respond by email within 24 hours.
