The Ulster Cancer Foundation chairs the Regional Co-ordinating Group for No Smoking Day in Northern Ireland.
The group has representation from each Health and Social Services Board, Environmental Health and the Health Promotion Agency for Northern Ireland and meets six times per year.
No Smoking Day evaluation has shown that the campaign is enormously successful in Northern Ireland at raising public awareness and participation and is successively the best in the UK.
