Professional Training Courses


The Education and Training Department offer a range of training courses to meet cancer information and smoking cessation needs. These courses are suitable for all health professionals, teachers, social workers and environmental health officers.

Cancer Information Training

  • Aspects of Cancer (4 day)
  • Cancer in the Workplace (2 day)

Smoking Cessation Training

  • Help People Stop Smoking (2 day)
  • Brief Intervention Smoking Cessation Training (1/2 day)
  • Adolescent Smoking Cessation Training (2 day)
  • Smoking Matters (2 day) - Youth workers and teachers

Training can also be developed to meet your specific cancer information and prevention needs.
