Direct Wine Shipments are holding a Brown Brothers Wine Tasting on Saturday 23rd October at 2pm at their premises in Belfast. All proceeds of the event will go towards building the new Ulster Cancer Foundation Cancer Service Centre to help combat cancer in Northern Ireland.
Direct Wine Shipments, Food & Wine Manager Steve Kline, is the 'palate' of Brown Brothers and one of Australia's most experienced and knowledgeable wine presenters. Steve explained, ?For the first time in 4 years we are excited to once again host this fun packed and extremely popular certificate tasting. This is a chance to be awarded your own Brown Brothers certificate for your individual tasting skills! We also delighted that the event will help raise funds for the Ulster Cancer Foundation.?
Joyce Savage, Head of Appeals & Marketing, Ulster Cancer Foundation added, ?We are very grateful to Direct Wine Shipments for supporting our Building for Life project by holding this event. The project is dedicated to raising funds to build our new Cancer Service Centre for the people of Northern Ireland and all proceeds will help us to reach our fundraising target for this essential building.?
Steve will host a tutored tasting of eight wines and after analytical appraisal, participants taste the same eight wines once again - this time blind! Steve added, ?Prepare to get on your thinking caps on as well as your drinking caps - This event is not for the faint hearted!?
Tickets cost £25 per person, with all proceeds going to the Ulster Cancer Foundation. For Bookings please contact Direct Wine Shipments, 5/7 Corporation Square, Belfast, BT1 3AJ on Tel: 028 9050 8000, email: shop@directwine.co.uk
