Local Woman to Present Research at 4th World Cancer Conference

Local woman Mary Brannigan, from Castlewellan, has been asked to present a research paper at the UICC 4th World Conference for Cancer Organisations, which will take place over three days, Wednesday 17th ? Friday 19th November 2004, in the Burlington, Dublin.
Mary who is also a Counsellor with the Ulster Cancer Foundation explained, ?The paper outlines the evolving partnership between the Ulster Cancer Foundation and the NHS in relation to the provision of counselling services for cancer patients and their relatives. It is a tremendous honor to be invited to speak at the conference. We at the Ulster Cancer Foundation look forward to contributing to and learning from models of ?best practice? in the global fight against cancer?.
