Plans are well advanced for Northern Irelands Agricultural Machinery Dealers Association Charity Barbecue, which will be held this year in Dromore Rugby club, Co. Down.
A.M.D.A.s Chairperson Betty Troughton said, We are pleased to bring the charity barbecue to Co. Downs Dromore Rugby Club, an ideal location just of the A4 Motor Way. So why not come along on June 12th from 7pm, good food, good company and good craic should be enjoyed by all.
Each year A.M.D.A. teams up with a local charity to help it raise funds for its work in Northern Ireland. This year the nominated charity is the Ulster Cancer Foundation.
The Ulster Cancer Foundation is a local charity working in Northern Ireland for over thirty years to combat cancer. Neill Grainger, Senior Development Officer, Ulster Cancer Foundation said, The Ulster Cancer Foundation are delighted to receive support yet again from the agricultural community who have helped so much in the past.
Neill and Betty met at the top of Ben Nevis last year when Betty completed the 4480 foot assent - as well as arranging the barbecue she may take a walk again this year!
Further information about the barbecue which takes place on 12th June from 7pm at Dromore Rugby Club can be obtained from Betty Troughton on 028 3831 8216 or any committee member.
