Ulster Cancer Foundations Annual Conference - Facing the Challenge of Cancer

Leading local charity, the Ulster Cancer Foundation (UCF) will be holding their Annual Conference on Saturday 22nd May, Malone Lodge Hotel, Belfast.
UCF are inviting cancer patients, their friends, and families, Carers, Health Professionals and anyone concerned about cancer to attend the event, which will focus on The Challenge of Cancer.
The Conference speakers will be presenting on a wide range of relevant and interesting topics. Dr Sarah McKenna, Consultant Oncologist, Belfast City Hospital, will be giving delegates an update on the Advances in Cancer Treatments, Dr Gerry Burns, MacMillan GP Facilitator, will be giving advice to patients on how to communicate with your Doctor and a session highlighting top tips on overcoming fatigue will deal with this very relevant issue for many cancer patients. Star attraction for many however, will be Billy Dixon, Personal Image Consultant, who will be giving advice on how to regain your confidence after a diagnosis of cancer.
Ruth Campbell, Head of Care Services, UCF, added, We are delighted to have so many excellent speakers for this years conference. We are sure that they will inform and inspire the audience. The conference is one of the most important events in the year for UCF and it gives patients a chance to get together to share their experiences.
