Spring is nearly upon us and the Ulster Cancer Foundation are urging members of the public to head for the great outdoors and take part in their Glens of Antrim Walking Festival on Sunday 18th April.
Walkers have a have a choice of a 5, 10, 16 or 22 mile walk across the beautiful Antrim Plateau.
Event organiser Neill Grainger, UCF Senior Development Officer explained; ?Our Spring Walking Festival is always a popular event and we are hoping for a good turnout again this year. There are four different walking routes so there is an option to suit everyone?s ability with the shortest walk being the 5 mile Glenariff Forest Challenge and the longest a 22 mile walk from Ballycastle to Glenariff.?
The entry fee is only £10 for short walks and £20 for long walks and all proceeds go towards the lifesaving work of the Ulster Cancer Foundation.
For entry details and further information on this event please contact Neill Grainger on Tel: 028 9066 3281.
