The Ulster Cancer Foundation?s Annual Interdenominational Celebration of Life Service, will take place on Sunday 28th March at the Fisherwick Presbyterian Church, Malone Road, Belfast at 3.30pm.
The service is for patients, carers and anyone whose life has been touched by cancer; BBC Broadcaster Fr Oliver Crilly will give the address.
Ruth Campbell, Head of Care Services, UCF said, ?This year we are delighted to announce that the UTV School Choir of the Year 2003 - Carrickfergus College Choir, will perform music throughout the service. This is a unique opportunity to bring people together to celebrate life.
The focus of the service is ?Hope? and the celebration of strength and courage of those who live with cancer and to give thanks for those who care and support them. All who wish to attend will be made most welcome.?
With around 8,700 people newly diagnosed with cancer in Northern Ireland every year, cancer touches the lives of many of us.
The UCF had dedicated itself to improving the lives of all those with cancer. Our freefone helpline 0800 783 33 39 provides information and support for people trying to cope with the diagnosis of cancer.
