Another Chance To Hit The Heights

UCF is giving people another chance to get to the top in Scotland.
A total of more than 600 people have already arranged to take part in three walks to the summit of Ben Nevis in September and October.
But more people want to walk the walk and we have now organised an extra walk for the weekend starting 25 October.
At 4408-ft, Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles, but the walks are taken at a gentle pace over eight hours.
Neill Grainger, UCF senior appeals officer, says: “No climbing is involved and walkers will be able to enjoy some of the most breathtaking scenery in the British Isles.
“All the equipment needed will be available at our hotel in Fort William, but people may bring their own gear if they want to.”
More information can be obtained from Neill Grainger or Sarah Atcheson.
