Bidding For Funds

The UCF will benefit from the Antiques and Arts International Fair at Belfast?s Ramada Hotel from 15-17 November.
Around 40 exhibitors from Northern Ireland, Britain and the Republic of Ireland will be displaying high quality goods, including furniture, jewellery, fine art and collectable items such as clocks, ceramics, glass and books.
There will be a number of free talks on topics including ?investing in wines? and ?collectable books?, and a valuation expert will be on hand.
UCF will receive a minimum donation of £1 from every visitor to the event.
Paul Rankin?s restaurant in the Ramada will be the venue for a businesswomen?s luncheon on Friday 15 November, the first day of the fair.
Fiona Jennings, deputy chief executive of the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service and chairperson of the Woman in Management group, will host this special occasion.
All people at the lunch will receive complimentary tickets (worth £5.00 each) for the fair. There will also be an auction of several items donated by the exhibitors, with all proceeds going to UCF.
Tickets for the luncheon are £30 per person and can be reserved by telephoning Paula Drummond, special events co-ordinator, on 9038 6337 before Friday 1 November.
· Banbridge Friends have arranged a Sotheby's Valuation Day in the town?s Belmont Hotel on 25 September from 11am ? 4pm. Admission is £5.
· Malone Lodge Hotel (near our HQ in Eglantine Avenue) will host a table quiz on 23 October.
