Ballymena Combat Cancer Group raises £300,000 in 10 years

Gerry McElwee, Head of Cancer Prevention at the Ulster Cancer Foundation attended Ballymena Combat Cancer Group’s AGM on Tuesday 7th May.
He congratulated the group on their fundraising efforts during the past year and thanked the members for their loyalty and support.
A cheque was presented to Gerry after which he announced that the members of Ballymena Combat cancer Group had raised well over £300,000 during the past ten years. He said this made Ballymena one of the top Ulster Cancer Foundation Combat Cancer Groups and thanked them very much for their continuing hard work and support for the Foundation’s work.
