Mrs Fiona Castle, wife of the late Roy Castle, will give the address at the Ulster Cancer Foundation’s Celebration of Life Service.
The service will take place on Sunday 21st April at 3.30pm in Fisherwick Presbyterian Church, Malone Road. The Service is for patients, carers and anyone whose life has been touched by cancer.
Ruth Campbell, Head of Care Services, at the Ulster Cancer Foundation said, : “The church service is to celebrate the strength and courage of those who live with cancer and to give thanks for those who care for them. Mrs Castle, who lost her husband Roy to cancer has a unique understanding of what it means to face a diagnosis of cancer. The Ulster Cancer Foundation is here to provide support and help to people as they cope with one of the greatest challenges of their lives.
“The focus of the service is ‘Hope’. It is our belief that this occasion provides the opportunity for people to come together to share their faith and remember how precious life is”.
Everyone who attends will be made most welcome.
