Chief Executive Arlene Spiers Receives OBE Award

Supporters, cancer patients and friends of the Ulster Cancer Foundation have been congratulating Arlene Spiers, Chief Executive, who received an OBE award in the New Year Honours.
Arlene said today, “This award is a real honour and I am privileged to receive it. It also reflects the good work that the Ulster Cancer Foundation has been involved in over the past 20 years – work that we are committed to continuing for many years to come.
“Cancer treatment and care has progressed significantly in Northern Ireland over recent years and there have been many improvements. However there is still much to be done and UCF as the leading local charity is ready to play its part”.
