Annual Pink Ribbon Events

Following the outstanding success of our first Pink Ribbon Luncheon held in Enniskillen in 2002, there are two Luncheon events again this year!
The first will be on Friday 3rd October in Enniskillen’s Killyhevlin Hotel when our special guest will be award winning celebrity hairdresser Paul Stafford.
Paul will be helping to promote our “looking good, feeling better” message and some lucky guests will receive a special makeover from him and his team, which also includes his wife Leisa and beautician Lorna McKenna.
Paul Stafford Hair + Beauty have just recently opened their new luxury salon on Great Victoria Street in Belfast which attracts many celebrities such as Sharon Corr and Patrick Keilty who have become regular clients. Paul has kindly made UCF his chosen charity for the coming year and plans to become involved in our many fundraising events.
Paul explains his reasons for supporting UCF, “I meet women every day who have been affected by cancer, so it gives me great pleasure to support the foundation. I feel that hairdressers like me can give something worthwhile back to the local community through our skills.”
A week after Enniskillen –
Friday 10 October – it will be Pink Ribbon Luncheon time in Belfast’s Europa Hotel.
Our special guest will be Kate Thompson, actress turned bestselling novelist.
Belfast born Kate has appeared in TV productions with stars such as Liam Neeson and Gabriel Byrne, and spent nine years in the popular soap ‘Glenroe’. Her first novel – ‘It Means Mischief’ – was an immediate success. Follow-up books have met with increasing success and a sixth novel – ‘A Perfect Life’ – is due in October.
A champagne reception will greet guests at the luncheons, followed by a delicious lunch and our grand raffle, which includes a range of prizes from Paul Stafford makeover vouchers to luxury hotel breaks. For the most fashion conscious, there will be ‘best dressed in pink’ prizes.
Best of all, the price of a ticket remains at £25 for the sixth year running.
